Lone Star Kicking Challenge adds Coaching Clinic

The Lone Star Kicking Challenge announces its first-annual high school coaches Special Teams Clinic, featuring Jeff Rodgers, Assistant Special Teams Coach for the San Francisco 49ers. The clinic will be held at the Texas State University Football End Zone Complex at Bobcat Stadium on Friday night, July 7.

Registration: 6:30 pm
Clinic: 7:30 pm
Social Hour: 9:00 pm

Jeff Rodgers is in his fourth year as assistant Special Teams Coach for the 49ers. A graduate of Westlake HS in Austin, Rodgers played LB at the University of North Texas, earning four letters, before doing his graduate work at the University of Arizona. Rodgers, 28, joined Dennis Erickson’s staff in 2003 and was rehired by Mike Nolan, when he succeeded Erickson in 2005.

Rodgers will speak on “Practice Organization and Drills for the Kicking Game”
