Story: Blue Chip Recruiting Roundups ReachHalfWay Point

Dallas and Houston have record-breaking attendance

Over 300 junior prospects attended the first round of Blue Chip Recruiting Roundups in Dallas and Houston this past weekend. A huge walkup crowd contributed to a record-breaking attendance in Dallas, despite a conflict with the February ACT test date..
Prospects attending the workshop participated in a 90 minute educational workshop regarding the Division I recruiting process as well as 30 minute Q&A featuring six current high school seniors who signed National Letters of Intent just two weeks ago. Sponsored in part by Dave Campbellís Texas Football Magazine, each prospect received a copy of the 2005 magazine as well as had his picture taken for next summerís edition. Each prospect was asked to bring a short highlight tape and his best game tape, and those highlights will appear on the Texas Football website:
The Blue Chip tour moves on to Central Texas with a Saturday, 9AM workshop at Texas State University and to East Texas at Stephen F. Austin University on Sunday afternoon at 1:30.
