Popular Event Ends After 10 Year Run
After a very successful ten year run, the Lone Star Kicking Challenge will not be held this summer.
LSKC Director Randy Rodgers: “ When I started the Lone Star Kicking Challenge ten years ago, our goal was to create a low cost competition event, where Texas High School kicking specialists could all perform the same skills in the same physical environment and be fairly evaluated against each other. The event started with 69 players the first year and has consistently attracted 125-150 players every summer. We’ve had over 1000 players participate, several dozen who have gone on to perform in college and the last two Super Bowl Champion teams have had LSKC alumni kicking for them.”
“I feel we’ve accomplished all the goals we set out to do and it is time to move on. My scouting/recruiting business has grown so much in just the last couple of years that the time and energy I need to put into it in the months of May and June were going to cut into the preparation that I needed to continue to make the LSKC the best organized, best run, and first class operation that our players and parents have come to know and expect. “
Players that have already registered will be refunded in full
