McAllen on Saturday, Tyler on Sunday

The 2009 Blue Chip Recruiting Roundup tour, sponsored by College Coaches Network, winds up this weekend with the last two workshops in McAllen and Tyler. Over 400 Texas high school players have participated in the first four Roundups in Abilene, San Marcos, Dallas, and Houston.
Blue Chip Recruiting Roundups are designed for high school juniors and their parents to better educate themselves about the college football recruiting process. Admission is free, but prospects are asked to bring a 20-25 play highlight tape and their best single game tape from the 2008 season. This is not a combine—there is no workout, but players will be measured and have their pictures taken for possible inclusion in the 2009 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine.
The McAllen workshop will be held on Saturday morning, February 28 at McAllen high school. Registration begins at 9:30 am. The Tyler workshop is on Sunday afternoon at the Accelerate Performance Enhancement Center. Registration begins at 1:30 pm. Directions are available on the Events Page of this website.
